Wild apples from southwest

Me and Ben wanted to find some more apples this year. Two years ago we got a huge haul, 750 pounds. Ben found them on the give away section of craigslist. This year we were a little late, the season is already worming out. But we found some and me and Chris drove down to a lawyers place in southwest and picked about 150 pounds from two hugely overgrown and wild trees. We had to shake them to get the apples to drop. They were small, red, tart, and had lots of worms. But that wild taste is so delicious, high acid, crisp, and very sweet. The plan is to make hard cider. Tomorrow Elly is back in town and we can grind them up!
